A most exciting match last Wednesday resulted in a narrow win for Borehamwood in an away fixture at Harpenden in a mixed triples on 4 rinks by 65 shots to 62.

The two winning rinks for Borehamwood were Joyce Wrigley and Ivy Eales skipped by Eric Swain 18-15, and Gerry Stephens and Jean Parker skipped by Peter Job, 18-14.

The winners of the Annual Mixed Pairs competition held at the Club last Sunday were Audrey Page and Eric Swain.
