In a mixed triples friendly on 4 rinks away to North Mymms, Borehamwood narrowly ran out winners by 71 shots to 66.

Ivy Eales and Danny Agras skipped by Doris Edwards gained 3 shots on the last two ends to secure a draw 16-16, but it was Pat Stephens and Dave Mooring skipped by Peter Job whose win by 11 shots (24-13) gained the overall victory.

Borehamwood were again successful in their home friendly against Batchwood on 4 rinks the following Wednesday with a 67-58 victory.
Dave Mooring, Arthur Muir and Doris Edwards skipped by Margaret Moseley won 18-11after being 5-11 down at tea, whilst Top Rink Tony Parker, Adrian Pardini and Madge Barker skipped by Bryan Mayson eased home comfortably by 24 shots to 8.
