In a mixed triples played on 5 rinks away to Mill Hill, Borehamwood went down heavily

 by 95 shots to 66. They did however have 2 successful rinks with Ivy Eales and Malcolm Smith

skipped by Fred Paine coming through 20-15, and Top Rink Joyce Wrigley and Bryan Mayson

 skipped by Doris Edwards winning by 18-12.

At the weekend, Borehamwood hosted the Metropolitan Police, and ran out easy winners winning

 3 out of the 4 rinks with Audrey Page, Gerry Stephens and Bryan Mayson skipped

 by Don Putman 18-14, Pat Stephens, Adrian Pardini and Fred Paine skipped

 by Mick Glover 18-14, and Top Rink Dickie Daniels, Eric Swain and Harry Massey skipped

 by Sid Butcher by an impressive 31 shots to 12.
