In a Watford & District League Match at Meadow Park last Wednesday,
Borehamwood defeated Garston by 60 shots to 50.

Their winning rinks were Adrian Pardini, Danny Agras and Brian Mayhew skipped
by Peter Job 20-17, and Top Rink Dickie Daniels, Gerry Stephens and
Bryan Mayson skipped by John Roe who triumphed 24-11.

 

Even though Borehamwood won 3 out of their 4 rinks in a mixed triples friendly
against Rowley Lane, they only won by a narrow 3 shot margin, 59-56.

Details were Adrian Pardini and Joyce Wrigley skipped by Fred Paine 19-16,
Pat Stephens and Arthur Muir skipped by Peter Job 14-12,
and Top Rink Audrey Page and Barry Coles skipped by Jean Parker 17-7.

Borehamwood also completed a very successful week by winning their
Friday Night League Match against Rickmansworth 39-37, thanks to their
away triples team of John Roe and Mick Glover skipped by Don Putman who won 21-14.
