In spite of very indifferent weather resulting in a lower than usual

attendance, Borehamwood Bowls Club's Finals Day was most enjoyable and

successful with some very competitive matches, none more so than the Men's

Championship where Ken Sharp beat Club President Arthur Moseley by 21-19 on

the 24th end.
