Adrian Pardini, Ian Claydon and Eric Swain skipped by Brian Mayhew won the friendly rink against Croxley Guild Bowls Club by 20-11.Borehamwood enjoyed a most successful Gala Day, ending with a great barbeque. The overall winners of the Bowls Competition were Dickie Daniels, Ann Atkin and Margaret Moseley.Another great win in the County League saw Borehamwood beat Harperbury by 44 shots to 42, thanks to an outstanding win by John Roe, Danny Agras and Don Putman skipped by Roy Edwards who romped home 26-12.The Annual Ladies Triples Competition was won by Lesley Martin, Peggy Pollintine and Jean Snook, whilst Dickie Daniels, Sid Butcher and Fred Paine took the Men's Trophy.
