Borehamwood's Margaret Moseley was right on top of her game to outplay Dianne Charman from Bushey Bowls Club by 21 shots to 6 in the 1st round of the Watford & District Singles.

After a really exciting match, which swung backwards and forwards throughout, Eve Middleditch and Betty Massey pipped their opponents by 1 shot on the extra end in the Watford & District Pairs.

In a very close contest, Borehamwood succumbed to Berkhamstead in a mixed triples friendly on 4 rinks by only 3 shots, 67-70. Their only winning rink was Pat Stephens and Brian Mayhew skipped by Roy Edwards who won 21-20.

Three is the unlucky number for Borehamwood this week as they went down again by that margin in a Watford & District League Match at home to Herts 53-56.

Their winning rinks were Adrian Pardini, Brian Mayhew and Danny Agras skipped by Dave Middleditch 20-16, and Dickie Daniels, Barry Coles and Dave Mooring skipped by Dave Winter 19-15.
