Borehamwood's Tina Job, Joan Tester and Margaret
Moseley had a brilliant win in the Watford &
District Triples to reach the Quarter-Finals which
will be played at Herts on Wednesday 4 June.
Ken Sharp
also did so well with a fine win over his opponent
from Mill End, 21-14.
Borehamwood
went down 68-88 away to Batchwood in a mixed 4 rink
contest. Their two winning rinks were Joan Wrigley,
Bryan Mayson and Arthur Muir skipped by Jean Snook
who won 23-11 and Lesley Martin, Eric Swain and
Barry Coles skipped by Captain for the day Peter
Job.
Borehamwood
also lost their Watford & District League Match away
to Croxley Guild 54-66. Their only winning rink of
the 3 was Alan Rose, Neville Simons and Don Putman
skipped by Roy Edwards who after being 3-15 down
after 9 ends fought back well to win 24-21.
