In a very close contest in a mixed triples match on 4 rinks, Borehamwood beat their neighbours Rowley Lane by 6 shots 63-69.Wood's 2 winning rinks were Pat Stephens and Adrian Pardini skipped by Doris Edwards 20-14, and Top Rink Chrissie Martin and Jim Townshend skipped by Mick Glover,22-8.Borehamwood had mixed fortunes in their two Watford & District League Matches this week.They lost away to Garston 41-59 losing on all 3 rinks, but had an excellent win away to Kings Langley,69-52. Alan Rose, Bryan Mayson and Danny Agras skipped by Dave Winter 23-17, and Top Rink Arthur Muir, Mick Glover and Dave Middleditch skipped by Club President Arthur Moseley romped home 29-13.
