Borehamwood started the week with an excellent win over Batchwood Bowls Club in a mixed friendly on 4 rinks.

Their three winning rinks were Joyce Wrigley, Lesley Martin and Eve Middleditch skipped by Fred Paine 20-19, Eileen Mason, Alan Rose and Brian Mayhew skipped by Dave Middleditch 18-10, and Top Rink Chris Martin, Pat Stephens and Pat Talbot skipped my Roy Edwards 22-7.

 

The following day, although Borehamwood lost 1 of their 2 rinks against Shire Park in the County League 15-26, John Roe, Danny Agras and Don Putman skipped by Roy Edwards annihilated their opponents winning by a massive 34 shots to 3, to triumph by 20 shots overall.

 

Borehamwood rounded off a highly successful week with an excellent win in the Watford & District League Match away to Bushey by 5 shots overall, although their only winning rink was Alan Rose, Mick Glover and Don Putman skipped by Dave Winter.
