In a League Match against Abbots Langley, Borehamwood Ladies(Leslie Martin, Doris Edwards and Madge Barker skipped by Joan Tester) held on to win an exciting game 18-17.

In a men's friendly on 4 rinks at home to Rowley Lane, Borehamwood went down by 66 shots to 84. Their only winning rink was John Tester, Mick Glover and Dave Middleditch skipped by Don Putman who romped home 28-16.

In the Watford & District League Match  against the usually formidable Bushey, Borehamwood's Men played out of their skins to win on all 3 rinks, 74-54. Teams were Harry Massey, Norman Harrison and Don Putman skipped by Roy Edwards 22-21, Alan Rose, Colin Williams and Dave Mooring skipped by Arthur Moseley 25-18, and Top Rink John Roe, Neville Simons and Peter Job skipped by Dave Winter 27-15. The Ladies rink of Chris Martin, Peggy Pollintine and Tina Job skipped by Joan Tester won 20-18.
