 In the St. Albans & District Champion of Champions Quarter-Final, Borehamwood's Ken Sharp defeated Mike Davis from Batchwood 21-15.

A mixed friendly away to North Mymms saw Borehamwood pip their hosts by 76 shots to 71 with winning rinks Joyce Wrigley,John Tester and Peggy Pollintine skipped by John Paine (21-18), and Top Rink Adrian Pardini,Tina Job and Bryan Mayson skipped by Joan Tester (27-13).

In the Jubilee Cup , the Ladies inflicted a crushing victory over their opponents from Croxley Guild by 53 shots to 19 to progress to the semi-final with Anita Prosser and Eileen Mason skipped by Joan Tester(11-15), and Pat Talbot and Carol Sharp skipped by Margaret Moseley (42-4).

After 11 years of domination by Harperbury, Borehamwood finally regained the coveted Harry Allen Shield, winning convincingly on all 5 rinks, with Pat Talbot, Andy Bennett and Madge Barker skipped by Roy Edwards (21-18), Carol Sharp, John Tester and Betty Massey skipped by Don Putman (22-18), Lesley Martin, Bryan Mayson and Doris Edwards skipped by Ken Sharp (22-17), Alan Rose, Ivy Eales and Dave Middleditch skipped by Joan Tester (23-14), And Top Rink John Roe, Peggy Pollintine and Barry Coles skipped by Margaret Moseley (25-14).

 

 

On Sunday 30th July 2007 Borehamwood celebrated their Golden Jubilee with a gala day - present were 2 of the clubs founder members still playing competitively for the club.
