Borehamwood Ladies reached the heights as they won their semi-final of the Jubilee Cup against Radlett. Although Carol Sharp, Pat Talbot and Margaret Moseley lost an exciting game by 1 shot, Eileen Mason, Anita Prosser and Joan Tester scraped through in a nail biting finish by 2 shots giving Borehamwood a single shot win and securing their place in the Final where they will meet Berkhampstead on Monday 3 September.

The in-house Young Cup was won this year by Adrian Pardini, Audrey Page and betty Massey skipped by Roy Edwards.

The final Watford & District League Game of the season saw Borehamwood go out on a high when they completed the double over their hosts Kings Langley by 80 shots to 50. Winning rinks were Adrian Pardini, Dave Middleditch and Colin Williams skipped by Arthur Moseley ( 25-14 ), and Top Rink John
Roe, Dave Mooring and Don Putman skipped by Dave Winter ( 36-10 ).
