Another special match to commemorate Borehamwood's Golden Jubilee saw them entertain a strong representative team from St. Albans & District, and after an unbelievably close encounter, Borehamwood succumbed by just 3 shots, 85-88. The 2 winning rinks of the 5 played were John Tester, Bryan Mayson and Harry Massey skipped by Dave Winter, 19-16, and Top Rink John Roe, Dave Middleditch and Danny Agras skipped by Arthur Moseley, 23-11.

In a mixed friendly on 5 rinks, Borehamwood again lost another close match at Potters Bar by 73 shots to 86. Their two winning rinks were Dave Mooring, Peggy Pollintine and Dave Winter,16-15, and Top Rink John Roe, Andy Bennett and Betty Massey who won by 17 shots to 13.

Borehamwood drew their Watford & District League Match against Watford by 56 shots each. Their two successful rinks were Adrian Pardini, Brian Mayhew and Colin Williams skipped by Arthur Moseley, 21-11, and Top Rink Alan Rose, Dave Mooring and Harry Massey skipped by Dave Winter with a
comprehensive 25-9 victory.
