In a men's
triples friendly against Barnet on 4 rinks last week,
Borehamwood ran out easy winners by 88 shots to 48. Winning
rinks were Vic Solomans and George Gable skipped by Roy
Edwards 23-8, Barry Coles and Alan Rose skipped by Arthur
Muir 24-7, and Top Rink Andy Bennett and John Tester skipped
by John Roe by a massive 30 shots to 9.
Sunday was
Borehamwood's Finals Day and as has become the custom over
many years they were blessed with glorious weather. There
were some wonderful close and exciting matches not least of
all the Ladies Handicap Pairs, eventually won by Audrey Page
