In
their last competitive game of the season,
Borehamwood celebrated in style with a
resounding win against North Mymms at Meadow
Park by 97 shots to 59. Three out of the four
rinks won, with
Vic Soloman, Harry Massey and Lesley Martin
skipped by Doris Edwards 24-18, Bryan Mayson,
Eileen Mason and Tom Barker skipped by Ken Sharp
23-15, and Top Rink Alan Rose, Ivy Eales and
Betty Massey skipped by Roy Edwards by a massive
33-7.
In the traditional final game of the season played on 6 rinks the
Gents beat the Ladies by a narrow 11
shots,102-91, with the final result in
doubt until the last end.
