On Sunday, Borehamwood's Men hosted St.Albans in a friendly on three rinks, and the Ladies on two.

Unusually, the Ladies went down on both their rinks, losing 33-55 overall. However, the Men were more fortunate, narrowly coming out on top after a poor start by 64 shots to 59, with Barry Coles, Arthur Muir and Mick Glover skipped by Don Putman winning 24-19 after being 6-15 down after 10 ends, and Alan Rose, Ralph Middleditch and Brian Mayhew skipped by Roy Edwards winning comfortably 25-17 after being down 5-15 after 10 ends.

All in all, an excellent week for Borehamwood.
